Fish and plant keeping is an art and there is never one answer that fits all (getting it wrong sometimes and learning is a part of the hobby). But the guys here always offer all of the knowledge they can (which is extensive) and they always try to help. I've found other fish shop staff can be snooty and know-it-all but these guys aren't. The guys here don't make you feel stupid, they just help you learn. They do know a lot but they just want the best outcome. That's why I only go here now. I recently upsized my aquarium and have carefully selected stock that I like. It didn't go straightforward (my fault choosing fish that weren't compatible) but the help, patience and understanding I received from the guys in the shop has been A+++.
